National Open Meetings – a chance to comment on draft guidelines

Please note that the provisional recommendations presented in these drafts do not constitute SIGN's formal recommendations on this topic. The recommendations are provisional and may change after consultation.

For every guideline it develops, SIGN holds a national open meeting to give the guideline development group the opportunity to present its preliminary conclusions and draft recommendations to a wider audience.

Participants are able to contribute to and influence the form of the final guideline. Often the guideline development group obtains valuable feedback, such as suggestions for additional evidence it might consider, or an alternative interpretation of the evidence.

There are no National Meetings arranged at present.
