sign 20th anniversary
On 4 November 2013, we celebrated SIGN’s 20th Anniversary with a very successful event which brought together staff from NHSScotland, patients and individuals associated with SIGN throughout our history. The photos from the event are available online.
The SIGN exhibition showcased the work that we do, and allowed us to display some of the materials we have created over the years.
A total of 22 posters were presented by patients, clinicians and NHS staff showing how SIGN has impacted on service delivery, clinical outcomes and a range of different factors. View the posters online.
Professor Keith Brown, chair of SIGN buried a time capsule in the Physic Garden of the Royal College of Physicians. This contained:

In the evening we held a celebratory dinner at the Royal College of Physicians to commemorate the Anniversary and reflect on two decades of successful work improving outcomes for patients in Scotland and around the world.
